Feelings have a way of letting themselves be known… Sometimes its best to hide things until you’re sure, sometimes its best to shut up and keep things locked away. I decided that I had to at least get THAT sentiment out so I can start writing again

Needed a break from work… and a conversation inspired this one

Reaching from the corner Enormous crushing hands Grabbing, holding, restraining Constricting and stiffening Belonging not to animal nor creature No childhood monster reaches forth No disembodied evil apprehends Yet reaching from the corner Curling fingers of doom Thick knuckles defying resistance I’m crushed in the palm of angry silence.
