Spectre

  • by

She entered my life one night
For that moment and not many more
For that time it was me that her eyes beheld
And her spectre was all that I saw

Her tongue spoke of dreams that night
Of fantasies she remembered again
and then it was me she released from reality
And it was I that she rescued from pain

My heart skipped many beats that night
She brought magic that I swear never dies
An enchanted world that I now live within
Since her spectre appeared to my eyes
